Executive Coach — Leadership & Communications

I am an experienced educator, advisor and coach, working in the domains of leadership and communication. My history as a sales and marketing executive across multiple industries has provided a solid foundation of real world experience that informs my coaching and consulting practice.

I work with clients to navigate the path to success, leveraging their strengths and using that momentum to support improvements in other areas necessary for success.

When leaders are preparing for high-stakes communication situations including meetings and presentations, I help them develop powerful messages, and then communicate in ways that are credible, collaborative, clear, connected, compelling and concise. I also work with organizations to improve the quality of their internal and external communications; ensuring messages achieve their intended results and creating avenues for greater conversation on topics that matter. I have provided coaching and consulting in diverse industries such as high tech, financial services, biotechnology, healthcare, internet businesses, professional services, non-profits and entrepreneurial start-ups.

Prior to becoming an executive coach, I spent twenty years in sales and marketing leadership roles across a wide variety of industries including media, business services, corporate training, advertising and hospitality. I've worked in both large, multinational firms and small internet start-ups, including Marriott Hotels, HR.com, Thomas Cook, McKim Advertising and Molson Canada. While Director of Marketing for a communication skills training company, I was trained as a presentation skills coach. This opportunity surfaced both my gift and my fascination with coaching. I have also served as Senior Leadership Analyst for HR.com, researching and reporting out on best practices of leaders, and the best ways to develop leaders. I have presented at conferences and delivered educational workshops, both online and in-person. I've written articles and resources guides and was host of a live webcast interview series for several years, talking with various thought leaders on topics that reflected the changing nature of business.

I was trained as a coach through the Coaches Training Institute and have completed partial coursework for my Masters in Counseling Psychology.
